Head Personal Trainer

I have been involved in the sport and fitness world pretty much my whole life. I started playing soccer from a very early age all the way through to now and have had the honour to represent my state and compete at a national level. It wasn’t up until when I was 17 though that I really started getting more into the bodybuilding and fitness side of things due to the fact that I was very skinny and weak which in turn was hindering my soccer performance. I became obsessed with training and developing a stronger, healthier me and through this obsession of self improvement, I developed an extremely keen interest in training and nutrition and wanted to make it a big part of my life and help others achieve their fitness goals. I studied at Edith Cowan University for 3 years and ended up graduating in 2010 with a Sports Science & Exercise degree which has given me a vast knowledge in all aspects of training and sports nutrition.

Since graduating I have been able to apply my knowledge at the UWA Recreation Centre where I was a Group Fitness Instructor which was good but decided after 6 months that I needed something more challenging which has brought me here to Your PTexpert. Through here, I am able to do what I love which is helping people one on one reach their desires and hopefully changing their lives for the better.

Master Personal Trainer

I completed my certificate 3 and 4 in fitness at Challenger Tafe in Beaconsfield in 2009.  As soon as I started my Tafe course I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do with my life and wanted to make personal training my career.

I am into all kinds of sports although myself I am committed to fastpitch softball. I play for Southside Mariners and have been fortunate enough to play for Western Australia, from there I was chosen to represent Australia at the under 19 world championships which we were good enough to win in 2008.

Since then I was lucky enough to be chosen in the open men's Australian squad which is a huge honour and something I have always worked towards.
My current plans are to get settled into the fitness industry and secure a successful position that I enjoy. Also to keep learning within the fitness industry to further my knowledge to help assist my clients to achieve there goals. My next step from there is to become a head trainer for Your PT Expert and pass on my knowledge and have a more responsible role within the business which I'm going to work very hard to achieve.

My long term future goals are to own and run a successful gym which I'm hoping is less than 5 years away.

Master Personal Trainer

I am a highly energetic personal trainer that will not shy away from a challenge. I studied Certificate III and IV in Fitness at the Central Institute of Technology (Perth campus), where I worked with numerous age groups from young adolescents to elderly citizens. I have also worked with disabled clients and have experience in group training.

As a Personal Trainer I want to help people achieve their goals while having fun and not only seeing me as their “trainer”, but also their friend.

I love to challenge myself; I started playing basketball in 2007 when I was fifteen years old. I was terrible! I told myself I wanted to be the best player on my team by the time I finished high school. So I continued to practice every day, learnt certain techniques from different people, watched training videos and of course continued to play competitively to test my skills when I needed them most. The next year in 2008 I was awarded the teams “Most Improved Player” award, which to me was a big step in the right direction. Then in 2009, my last year of high school, I was awarded the teams “Most Valuable Player” or “MVP” award. This was a huge achievement. To set a goal and reach it by the time you set for it, is a magical feeling.

That’s the kind of achievement I want my clients to feel when they reach their goals, if I can see what I felt back then replicated in someone else, it gives me the drive to do more still. Just helping someone to feel great about themselves is why I became a Personal Trainer.
